BPS took up the case with Health Ministry. Sri S.C. Maheswari, Secretary General BPS sent the Order issued by Health Ministry on 24.10.2014 restoring the status quo in supply of CGHS medicines for 3 months and 6 months for chronic beneficiaries as before. Most of the beneficiaries especially pensioners residing in Non CGHS areas and their inconveniences thus mitigated.
